SAN LEANDRO, CA — Benjamin Eksouzian has made an impressive start on summer gardening with hundreds of seeds already sprouted. Last month he planted peppers, Armenian cucumbers, collard greens, chamomile, tomatoes and more. "I started them all in peat pellets," he told Patch. "Once they have two sets of leaves I transplant them to 3 or 4 inch peat pots." Benjamin said that when the seedlings are large enough to plant he will post on Nextdoor for trades with neighbors or cash. "I already have an offer from one neighbor for some eggs!" Thank you for sharing your photos, Benjamin! If you have an awesome photo of nature, breath-taking scenery, kids caught being kids, a pet doing something funny, or something unusual you happen to catch with your camera, we'd love to feature it on Patch.
